Photo and Media Policy

Journey Together Pre-K
Effective Date: December 1, 2025

Journey Together Pre-K values the privacy and dignity of every child and family in our program.

Photos and videos may occasionally be taken during classroom activities, special events, or preschool programs to document learning experiences and celebrate the preschool community.

Purpose of Media

Photos and videos may be used for:

• Classroom documentation

• Parent communication

• The program website

• Social media pages

• Educational or promotional materials

These images help showcase the learning environment and experiences offered through Journey Together Pre-K.

Parent Permission

Identifiable images of children will only be shared publicly with parent or guardian permission.

Children’s full names will not be published alongside images unless explicit written consent has been provided.

Protecting Children’s Privacy

Journey Together Pre-K will never share:

• A child’s home address

• Personal contact information

• Sensitive family information

All images will be used respectfully and in ways that reflect the program’s educational mission.

Opt-Out Option

Families who prefer that their child not appear in photos or videos may notify Journey Together Pre-K.

We will make reasonable efforts to honor those requests.
